The Women’s Health Program at Variety Health Center is seeking a full time health care professional interested in providing quality services in a friendly, family oriented clinic atmosphere. This clinic provides prenatal, postnatal and family planning services to low income and uninsured families in the Oklahoma City/County area.
- Must be a registered nurse licensed in the state of Oklahoma.
- Must be certified by a national certification body in one’s respective field.
- Must have knowledge and skills for the provision of direct high quality patient care in the practice of obstetrics and gynecology.
- Must be trained and certified in one of the following areas:
- A Nurse Practitioner recognized in the state of Oklahoma who has completed one of the following:
- A formal Ob/Gyn Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) educational program, or
- A nurse who has completed an Advanced Family Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) program with education and experience in obstetrics/gynecology, or
- A Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), certified by The American College of Nurse Midwives and recognized in the state of Oklahoma for midwifery practice, or
- A Physician’s Assistant (PA) certified in the state of Oklahoma with special training and/or experience in women’s reproductive health.
- Requires communicating effectively with patients and their families as well as skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with other employees, patients and the general public.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred and helpful, but not required.

- Salary is competitive for employment in community-based non-profit health centers and commensurate with education and experience. Range is $30.00 - $38.00 per hour.
